Title: problem launching gsx
Post by: Esteban on February 22, 2022, 09:29:44 pm
Hello I'm desperate, after taking several hours to install gsx. When I launch my simulator and I am on a gate in an airport when I press ctrl + f12, the gsx menu does not launch, I just have a sound in the background, like a sound of error "tong". On the other hand, when I am on an active runway, the menu is launched. Do you know where the problem comes from and how to fix it?

Couple things.

A. Parking brakes need to be set, and maybe engines shut down.
B. Parking might be too small for the airplane, in which case GSX menu won't load up unless you have it set to ignore the wingspan.

It seems you disabled the Info text in the sim ( I assume it's P3D, where it *can* be disabled ), so you can't see what GSX is trying to tell you, which is likely either the parking brakes not set or engines no shut of, or the "Paking too small" message.
