Hi Umberto,
is it possible for the marshaller to ignore the plane when approaching him/her from behind ?
That is the case at some parking positions, e.g. Parking position 3/4/5 at Tivat LYTV.
The marshaller correctly stands with the back to the taxiway, so when approaching him/her coming from Runway 32 the marshaller sequence already gets initiated on the taxiway. So when reaching the parking position the sequence is already finished.
I attach a screenshot to illustrate. Parking position 3. The orange circle is the marshaller position. The blue arrow is a the plane approaching the parking position

I'm not sure how these situations could be identified.

Something like plane must be in line of sight and moving towards Marshaller ? If not, do nothing.
Would be great to find a solution. Not only the intended marshalling doesn't work then, it also looks very weird seeing the Marshaller active from behind. Looks like he/she is doing some gymnastics. :)

Hi Umberto,
Is there really no solution possible for this?
Would be a pity, it's one of my favourite Airports. Really nice visual approach.
