Title: CTRL-F12 brings up the SimConnect window of another program
Post by: airbumps on February 10, 2021, 03:55:51 am
Hi All,

I'm sure this isn't a GSX problem, but I'm wrondering if anybody has expirenced this before. Using 5.1 HF1 when I''m using ProATC X and GSX together, on occasion when I call the GSX box I will get the ProATC SimConnet menu box instead. I can't clear or select any menu items within the menu box that apears on the screen and closing ProATC X makes no difference - that SimConnect menu box still appears.

Attached is a screenshot of what happens upon calling GSX, even after closing down ProATC X. Any advice?

I reported this a couple of months ago, gave P3D a break for MSFS. Updated today GSX and Active Sky. Currently having the issue again as last time I was told that I was just doing it wrong. I can't even click out of the Active Sky SIMCONNECT WX REQUEST window and when I try SHFT CTRL F12 GSX won't come up.

Yeah I'm guessing its the same problem. I don't use ActiveSky via the SimConnect window so I'm only expirencing it with ProATC X.

I thought I read somewhere this was a known problem but I can't seem to find reference to that thread. Not sure if it was on here on over at AVSIM. My recollection in that thread was that there was a way to change to format of the SimConnect window that resolved the issue....

If it was a known problem with the SimConnect menu I'd just want to know that P3D were aware ....
