So I recently reset my system, and I noticed that while I install one airport from my collection of add ons at a a time (one every day or so, mostly the one I fly to that day), there are always marshallers positioned at jetway-gates although there are working visual docking systems when I arrive.
Happened at EDDM (simwings), EDDLv2 (justsim), EDDH (simwings), EHAM (flytampa) and some others. I install the scenery, fly in, everything looks/works perfectly, but there's always also a dude/girl (sometimes on stairs) waiting to guide me in at every gate, even with a safedock present.
Is this just a default setting I have to correct for every airport now or am I missing something? I can't remember this happening before when I added new airports...
Thanks
Stu

It's entirely normal, if a 3rd party scenery use a custom Docking system, it's not possible for GSX to know it has one, the only Docking systems recognized by GSX are GSX's ( of course ) and SODE VGDS so, if the scenery uses these, it won't automatically use a Marshaller, since it *knows* there's a Docking system there.
In 3rd party scenery using custom ( non-GSX or non-SODE ) Docking Systems, you must set the "No parking System" option in the GSX customization page for all parking with a custom docking system, which will prevent GSX to create a Marshaller.

I will do that, thanks.
Although those airports all use SODE... ?

SODE jetways or VGDS. There's a difference. SODE jetways have nothing to do with the marshaller, and unless anything has changed, FlyTampa EHAM doesn't have SODE jetways. There is a configuration out there for GSX jetways to be used with FlyTampa EHAM. SODE VGDS is the visual guidance docking system.
