Title: Deicers wont deice my regional jet - at all airports i tested at
Post by: nickac1092 on December 30, 2020, 07:16:56 pm
Hi FSDT.  So the regional jet im using is the Posky Embraer 145XR.  Maybe its too small for the trucks?  Anyways, yea since my home base is MSP, i use the deice trucks almost daily there.  It works for alot of other aircraft though so im assuming it has to do with the plane size and/or gate size.

GSX cfg:

Hi FSDT.  So the regional jet im using is the Posky Embraer 145XR.  Maybe its too small for the trucks?

Most likely. They have a constraint requiring a wingspan of at least 22 meters. The ERJ 145 is 20, so it won't be used.

You might *try* changing this in the SIM.CFG for the Deicer:

condition = %(wingSpan)f > 22.0  ( change it to 20 or 19 )

then remove this folder before starting the simulator:

C:\ProgramData\Virtuali\Couatl

And see if they can still fit without issues.
