What do you mean? Why wouldn't the existing NGXu 737-700/800 profiles work?

Not in the GSX database.

Assuming the airplane use the same internal variables as the standard version, just with a different doors config, the easiest way to copy the configuration for an internally supported airplane to a new variant that stays in a different Airplanes folder, is as follows:

- load the supported version ( the standard NGX in this case )

- open the GSX airplane configuration editor and make a *very* small change, one that won't be visible, like moving a door one centimeter in one direction, so it will trigger the "Save" button to be active. You can even restore the previous value as if was, as long you can active the Save, it's fine.

- Go into this folder:

%APPDATA%\Virtuali\Airplanes

You should see a folder named like the version you edited, for example "PMDG 737-800NGX". Using Windows Explorer, Copy and Paste back in the same place the whole folder, so it will create something like "PMDG 737-800NGX (copy)"

- RENAME the copy exactly like the name of the folder under Simobjects\Airplanes of the new variant.

- Go back to the sim, and open the new variant.

- Open the GSX airplane configuration editor again, you should see the airplane is now configured using your new config, and make the necessary changes, like removing unused doors.

Thanks for the tips but I still hope someone could make some custom configs.

As you can see, the steps don't reach the BBJ (737-700).

And for both BBJ and BBJ, GSX wants exits 2 and 3 open.  Not sure why or which ones those would be.

I would hope the custom config. would:

-Fix the issue with the steps not reaching the airplane.

-Only steps to door 1L (no rear steps).(http://)

-And give the option for either bus/luxury car/SUVs.

Thanks!

I’m with you on the luxury set of vehicles for the BBJ. That would be pretty cool, but for just about all the other stuff you mention the end user can correct themselves.

You must have done something wrong, like naming the folder for the BBJ custom config wrong.

If you did everything correctly, you should have seen the doors named like the PMDG. Instead, if you see their default names, it means your custom configuration is not being read, most lively because of what I said above.

Of course, after you do the copy correctly, you should then remove any unused doors.

I made everything according to instructions and now works fine, there is one except - GSX is not recognizing PMDG BBJ wheel chocks as a parking brake and when I release brakes while using chocks I get information that I have to keep parking brakes on.

That's not something you can customize yourself, it needs a special configuration. We'll look into this.

easiest to put gsx.cfg in the main airplane simobjects folder in same place as its aircraft.cfg

I'm uploading a new file. The last one had a problem with the right service door. Load the BBJ1 in P3D. In the dropdown tab go to GSX-customize aircraft. Don't do anything to it. Exit P3d. Now go to your folder C/user name/AppData/Roaming/Virtuali/Airplanes. There will be a folder labeled PMDG 737-BBJ SSW or WL. Delete the file in it and replace with this file. It will work with both SSW and WL models. You will still need to set parking brake, I cannot get GSX to recognize wheel chocks. If you want to use the airstair, go into the add on/GSX/customize airport tab and click disable staircase.
