For those with marginal eye sight such as myself, I would like to suggest an option to change the background color of messages, such as "Be sure to operate the jetway" as an example. These messages have a green background with white lettering and are very legible. Error messages have a green back ground with red lettering which is very difficult to see for many, particularly in daylight or bright light conditions. Simply make the error message background red with white letters. So much easier to see in bright light conditions.
Thanks

I think it's just using the standard simulator colors for that, and I don't know if there's a way to change that.

There's no way to change the background color of the message, it's always green.
We can change the text color, but the choice of colors is very limited ( I think its just white, cyan or red ), and the only one that clearly conveys "error", is red.

Hello Umberto,
I am again asking for changing the message bar color. Cause I am red/green color blind . Is there any hope that this feature will come?
You said earlier, this feature is controlled by the flightsim application.
Can I change the color in P3D somewhere ?
thanks
Alhard

For me the white text color would be fine.

There's nothing you can do. And we cannot change the bar background, as I already explained.
We can do an OPTION for color blindness, to have all messages have white text, regardless if they are normal message or error because, it would be wrong forcing everybody to lose the useful differentiation between White text ( normal message ) and Red text ( errorr ).

That would only work if the HTML menu system is used. The latest P3D 5.1 Hotfix has reverted back to Scaleform by default.
