Title: FSDT PHNL Jetways
Post by: miata54 on August 29, 2020, 11:49:41 pm
I've attached a pic of some terminal hubs that are missing the jetways. I have SODE & GSX installed. Both are active. Just wondering why some jetways are missing.

You should have posted this in the PHNL forum, since this was already discussed and answered:

OK. Solved.

Next situation. When I try and bring up the GSX standard menu (Ctrl-F12), I get a different menu than what I am expecting. See pic. Am expecting the menu starting with (1. Request Deboarding.) Please advise.

Yeah, that would do it. Can't have ground crew running into jet engines now.

That's because CTRL+F12 is NOT the GSX key. It's the YouControl key, which on an airport that supports it, opens the YouControl menu. If the airport doesn't support it, it will open the GSX menu instead.

The problem I see in your screenshot is not you don't have the "usual" GSX menu, because that's what you are supposed to see on an airport that supports the YouControl menu. The problem is the 1st entry is supposed to be GSX, which seems to indicate GSX wasn't running when you took that screenshot.

Would that be because my engines were running at the time as Kevin suggested?

No, the GSX menu should always there, if GSX is running, and if you tried to call it when engines running, you would have seen a warning from GSX telling you can't do that.
