Title: No Logos on airport vehicles
Post by: mwyatt on July 27, 2020, 09:25:38 am
Hi, I have lost all logos on airport vehicles, I recently upgraded the P3D client to the latest version.
Deleted all shader files, renamed PrePar3D.cfg file to force a new one.
Re installed GSX/GSX2, no improvement, still no logos.
Nothing else has changed.
I also have problems with some stair vehicles not displaying correctly.
All help gratefully received.
P3D V4.5, GSX/GSX2
Win 10, latest build.
Martin.

That's your problem. Depending from which version you came, updating with just the Client might not be enough, and you'll have issues with all products that use PBR, not just GSX. You will have to uninstall the Content as well, and download and install the latest Content too.

Hi Virtuali, thanks for your quick reply.
I have uninstalled the "content" and installed the latest version.
That appears to have fixed the invisible stairs problem.
But I still do not have any Logos anywhere.
I have uninstalled GSX/GSX2 and reinstalled the latest version, took a long time !.
Deleted the Virtuali file for that airport in AttData-Roaming etc
It is as if I have disabled Logos somehow.
Cab you give me more help in restoring the logos to vehicles.
I do appreciate your assistance.
Martin.

PROBLEM SOLVED (I think !!). RTT (Render to Texture) was TICKED in ADDON MANAGER. Thanks to the many other posters who asked this question and got an answer.

Yes, that's to be expected, it's precisely what that option is supposed to do. By default is NOT ticked, it should only be enabled in very specific cases, like SLI mode ( not supported ) or to do troubleshooting.
