Has anyone noticed KSNA LVFR After last update, the Marshaller and GSX in general does not reset once you reach your stopping point? Maybe my setup is wrong?
-
Do you mean it happens only *there* ?
-
I thought so, but I was wrong. It happens at every airport now. When parking the marshaller seems like it doesn't know exactly where I am and not where to stop. Its weird. I added a new HOTAS joystick system but that shouldnt affect it?
-
I'm sorry, but I cannot replicate it.
The Marshaller always have some stop position. Whether this is accurate with the scenery used, it's another matter, but that's the whole point of having the ability to customize the Stop position in the GSX customization page, otherwise GSX will use the same default strategy of the sim, which will try to place the airplane center of mass in the center of the Parking as defined in the scenery AFCAD.
But this of course has always been the case, since the addition of the ability to customize the Stop position independently from the AFCAD, it always has been a good idea to customize stop positions, nothing has changed in the last update.
To be sure what the marshaller is doing, try to enable the Marshaller distance readout in the settings, so you'll see exactly where GSX is expecting you to stop, with numbers.

I have all my spots customized already. With read out on when I get to 0.0 the marshaller still wants me to keep going. I even tried the warp me there and the results are the same. Very weird. Should I re run the updater? Maybe some corrupt files?

What happens if you stop at 0, ignoring the animation ? Does the procedure completes ?
-
No it doesn't. Keep in mind all pushback works. It's only parking.
-
I still cannot replicate it, and nobody else reported it. It works normally here, as it always had.
-
I'm going to uninstall and reinstall. See if that works?
-
I doubt it. Running the FSDT Live Update should be more than enough to get the latest files.
