Title: GSX Error
Post by: Randy Harrill on November 29, 2019, 12:52:04 am
Hi I have used GSX for some time and have upgraded to GSX level 2 for FSX. I am currently receiving a error at KDEN, I am using FlightBeam for the scenery. Is there anyone that can point me in the correct direction. Thanks

- Enable logging from the "Troubleshooting" page of the GSX Settings.

- Restart the sim and go to KDEN, to get the error

- Exit and post you %APPDATA%\Virtuali\Couatl.LOG file ZIPPED and Attached to a post.

You said you had an error at KDEN, so I asked to go there to reproduce it and see what it is. However, you log shows you were at KLAX, which worked normally.

Now you sent your old Couatl.ERR file, which came from your first session in which you had logging disabled, but I need the Couatl.LOG file (that and only that one), which shows the error details, at KDEN.

here you go.

Your error log shows you are using a GSX .INI customization that you made or downloaded for that airport which was made with a very old version of GSX L2, one that had a bug of indicating the airline codes in a different way, but that problem was fixed about a week after GSX L2 was released, in Sept. 2018.

Remove all files named KDEN*.INI from your %APPDATA%\Virtuali\GSX folder, and the problem should go away.
