Title: How to install GSX at P3D v4.5 when FSX active on the same PC?

Hi, I am completely new with P3D v4.5 and now I wanted to start installing FSDT addons.
On the same PC is also the FSX installed and active. FSX on Drive D: and P3D on Drive H: (separate M.2 SSD). If I now start the GSX setup, the installer asks me not the path where I want to install GSX.
He installs this right back where the FSX is? How should I proceed to install the programs in P3D ??

you should install them outside of both simulators. The program will make the links. Important ist just, that every FSDT addon you intend to install is in the same folder, but you will have less troubles if that is outside of either FSX and Prepar. I am not sure about how to bring it into both sims, but I think you just have to rund the installer twice and select one after the other. I am sure Umberto ore some more experienced users can help you out here.

I think this: "http://www.fsdreamteam.com/forum/index.php/topic,20670.0.html" is exactly the problem I have and Umberto explains how to solve it.
It would be great if Umberto could confirm this before I start uninstalling FSDT sceneries.

another short question. Which installer I choose for the GSX installation, if I still have both sims (FSX and P3D v4.5) on the PC.
The 64 bit for P3D v4, or the 32 bit?

FSX is 32-bit.

That's why I asked which GSX installer to use if I want to use GSX with both sims.
The normal one for FSX, or the 64 bit one for P3D.
Or can't I use GSX with both sims?

You can use it for both simulators, you just can't use the same installer for both of them since one's 32-bit and the other's 64-bit.
