Title: Double jetways
Post by: Papagiorgio on August 28, 2019, 04:10:28 am
Every gate has two jet ways, one in light grey and one in dark grey.  Have to use the SODE menu in addons to dock.  GSX states no usable jetway.

Then GSX is using another AFCAD File, most of the time, they are dummy AI AFCAD like for Ultimate Traffic or Tools like that.
Open GSX and try to figure out, wich AFCAD it is using.
There is also another post with a similar problem somwhere here in the forum, I think they had a solution for it. But most of the time, it's coming from old or other afcad for the same airport, that have to be deleted.

Just to be clear Ultimate Traffic does not use an afcad system such as other AI packages and the issue will not be caused by that product.

There are no double jetways at FSDT KORD, of course. If you had to use the SODE menu, it means those extra ones were standard SODE so, it's not a conflicting AFCAD, but the remains of another scenery that uses SODE jetways that hasn't been properly uninstalled.

If you had the DD KORD, be sure you don't have the .SDX file for DD KORD in this folder anymore:

C:\Program Files (x86)\12bpilot\SODE\SDK

If you have it, remove it.

I don't have a SDK folder at all in that directory

That's because I said SDX, not SDK

Sorry, I meant SDX, I don't have that folder in SODE.

Sorry, I posted the wrong folder, it's not Program Files, it's program data:

%PROGRAMDATA%\12bpilot\SODE\SDX

Thanks Umberto, that solved the problem.  Excellent scenery!
