Title: No Taxi Instructions

For the second time in recent flights, I have been given instructions "taxi to runway _" with no specific instructions given. Once, I was assigned to runway 4R, and today to runway 13R. I checked, and my AFCAD has all the taxiways labeled appropriately. Any ideas?

Where were you starting from.  It might be possible that the parking spot isn't connected and you won't get any instructions.  Look at the afcad and see if it is connected.  Other than that I don't know.

The only "error" that AFCAD reports, is that the runway link designators do not match the runway name. Also, some of the parking connectors have labels like "LA" assigned to them, but they are still designated as parking connectors.
