Sorry if this has been answered, but I searched and couldn't find anything.
Seems as though the fuel truck and crew will arrive, take their position, all the animations seem to work, and I'm asked to input the fuel quantity. All seems well up to then. So I input the fuel and the fuel crew pack up everything, get in the truck, but won't leave the aircraft. It just stays under the wing with both crew members inside.
This incident happened at Flight beams KSFO., with the PMDG 737-800NG. I'm pretty sure the phenomenon has happened at other airports with other planes, but this is the example I have now.Running P3D 4.5.
Obviously, I'm doing something wrong, but I don't know what.
Thanks.

Please describe the problem more accurately:
- how much fuel you had before calling the GSX refuel
- how much fuel you added, and how (from the airplane FMC, from the default Fuel page ? )
- if with "I input the fuel and the fuel crew pack up everything" you mean AFTER having seen the animation sequence of the actual refueling.
- if you have the "Always refuel progressively" option enabled in GSX Simulation Settings
- if you have the "Detect custom fuel system" option enabled in the GSX Simulation Settings

18 months later still having this problem.
With Aerosoft pro busses, PMDG 737NGu and 747. Now running P3d 5.1 with HF's.
In answer to your questions, I always empty the tanks before calling for fuel truck.
In the most recent occurrence with the 747, I loaded 325000 lbs. of fuel when prompted to by GSX. I used the fmc to load the fuel.
The truck arrives at the plane, the animations began. The fuel counter indicates the correct amount of fuel has been loaded. Then the animations unhook and stow the hoses ang climb into the front seat of the fuel truck, but the truck never moves out from under the wing. I always have to reset at this point.
I've got both "Always refuel progressively" and "Detect custom fuel system" turned off.
Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks.

I personally haven't had this happen, so I don't really know what to suggest, but I also wonder why you waited 18 months to answer his questions, so he could try to help.

Thanks, Kevin. Hope you're not spending this Xmas season on the road.
Well, fact is, problem went away for a while with my old computer and V 4.5. Pretty sure I Googled the problem and was given a tip, back then.
Now, with new system and clean v5.1 install, the problem has surfaced again and my Google solutions searches have failed, so I'm back.
And, near as I can tell this doesn't seem to be a widespread problem, since my searches turn up my original post and not much else.

Are you calling for catering whilst refueling by any chance?
I've had it get stuck a couple of times by doing that.

I am, actually. I have been for the last 6.5 years. I don't go home for the holidays.

Yeah, think I am. Thanks for the suggestion. I'll give it a try.

That did the trick. Thanks.
