Hello
My GSXv2 stopped working after updating.
I keep getting the following error:
The addon <unknown> is causing the coatl Scripting Engine to restart.
Please download and install the latest Stand-Alone Addon Maneger from http://www.fsdreamteam.com/sa-addon-manager
Do you want to open log to see error details?
My error log is the following:
couatl v3.2 (build 4231)
panic log started on Tue Jul 9 23:13:24 2019
problem raised by addon <unknown>
Traceback (most recent call last):

File ".\common\__init__.py", line 141, in <module>
File ".\common\sceneryAddOn.py", line 4, in <module>
ImportError: No module named sceneryAddOnMulti
{}
I have allready made a full clean install of windows and P3Dv4.
and I have downlaoded the P3Dv4 version of GSXv2
Any ideas?

Run the Live Update again, something (antivirus, most likely) must have interrupted it. Be sure you configure the antivirus to exclude the whole Addon Manager folder.

Thanks and consider this one solved

I got the exact same message. The first time I ran the updater it said it was removing sceneryAddonMulti.pye, and then I got the error. Ran it again and it downloaded the file and the error went away. Doesn't sound like an anti-virus issue to me.

It can be either an antivirus or a firewall, or something like that. Another user just confirmed his same, identical problem was fixed in his case by disabling his work Cisco VPN software. Not sure how, but it's possible such software might interfere with the updater.
