Title: Avatar mode buggy with GSX Level 2
Post by: Ankh on July 05, 2019, 09:28:20 pm
Hi all, if I am walking around in Avatar mode, the plane is clipping through the GSX Level 2 vehicles. It looks like the GSX vehicles are transparant, check the screenshot below:

Is this a known issue? Is there something to be done about?

Regards
Chris

The problem doesn't have anything to do with GSX, you only noticed it now, because the new objects are much nicer to look at, so you have more incentives to use Avatar mode, but the problem has always been there, and it happens just the same even with no GSX.

The problem is caused when using the Avatar mode with a "Virtual Cockpit" camera, which is a camera optimized for VCs, but don't work with the Avatar. The correct cameras to use in Avatar mode are "First Person" or "Third Person"

Gosh, what an idiot I am... sorry that I did not realize this myself and thank you for the heads up. Next time I will use the proper camera, thanks a lot. Case closed (a case that was never a case ;-)).
