Hi guys,
I tried the the new update, but unfortunately the nosewheel of the FSLabs A320 doesn't get lifted, the pusher itself does lift, but not the airframe.
-
Does it work with another aircraft ?
-
I can try the PMDG 777, but it takes a while, because almost everytime I get a towbar truck...
-
this one seemed to lift.

So I tried and tried, but I never get the towbarless truck with any PMDG aircraft..

There are two towbarless trucks available, on for smaller planes and another for larger ones so, it's not possible that none of them would ever appear. However, there are also several models with a towbar and since the model is chosen randomly, you will simply have to try again, and it will eventually appear.

I can confirm that on the PMDG 747 QOTSII and FSLabs A320 the push back truck does not lift. The animation seems to reversed i.e. the front wheel suspension compresses but the airframe drops instead of rising. I will upload a video as soon as I can.
-
No need to upload anything, we have both planes and we can check it.
-
The same issue for me. I have tried the PMDG 747 and 777 as well as the FSLabs A320.

OK, I did a reinstall followed by a reinstall using the installer from the website. With the FSLabs A320 (default united livery N404UA) at Flightbeam KSFO Stand 56B, the nosegear doesn't get lifted, the elevator goes through the nosegear and during pushback, the nosewheel is turning. However, during the lift, the camera I used in my picture in post 1 does move upward.
A few things I observed:
1. The command for releasing the parking break comes, when the pushback truck is still lifting, in real life you are commanded to release the brake after lifting is completed
2. After the lift down, the pusher departs from the nosegear, with the clamp still in place
3. Pushback still stops aprubtly, exept for straight pushbacks
4. Durin fresh install, I got an error when the installer tried to copy a font into the Windows folder, I hat to override it, is that a problem?

kown issue, will be fixed.

Same as above

Doesn't happen here. Was this a custom pushback or a default pushback ?

Not a problem, it's just the Windows security that, on some systems, is worried about copying a file which is already there so, you can ignore it.
-
The aprubt stop just happened at your KIAH scenery with the FSLabs A320 after pushing from C40 (nose to the left). I haven't touch any of the GSX settings at KIAH yet.
-
Do you already have an idea, why the nosegear doesn't lift?

No, but it would be helpful if, an user affected could try with a default airplane, so I might have an idea if the problem is something specific to the airplane, or to the system (sim configuration, etc.)
-
if you let me know which airplane to try, I'll try.

As I've said, a default airplane.
-
is there any way to force GSX to use the towbarless pusher for this test? With the default A321 never get that one..

If you don't want to wait, you might try removing those folders:
Addon Manager\FSDT_Pushback_02
Addon Manager\FSDT_Pushback_Small
Addon Manager\FSDT_Pushback_TMX
Restart the sim, and you'll be left with just the two ( Pushback and Pushback_03 ) variations, which are both Towbarless.
Run FSDT Live Update again then, to restore the objects.
-
I moved these folder to a different location, but now GSX says pushback is not available for the aircraft. However, the parameters of the default A321 are correctly set up at the aircraft settings menu.

Are you located in a very small parking ? Both require a parking radius of at least 15 meters.
-
tried it at TBIT in LAX (150), the parking radius there is way greater than 15 meters, but still no pushback available.

Is your airplane totally empty ? The smallest of the two pushback requires at least 130.000 lbs of weight.
-
I got a total gross weight of 160000 pounds.
-
I cannot explain why you don't see the trucks:
As you can check for yourself, the SIM.CFG file for the Pushback_03 truck has this line:
condition = %(aircraftWeight)g > 250000 and %(parkingRadius)g > 15
Meaning it will work only for airplanes of at least 250000 lbs in weight and on a parking larger than 15 meters of radius so, you won't see this truck with an A321. However, the other truck, the FSDT_Pushback, has this line:
condition = %(aircraftWeight)g > 130000 and %(aircraftWeight)g < 250000 and %(parkingRadius)g > 15
Meaning it will appear on airplanes between 130000 and 250000 lbs of weight, and on a parking larger than 15 meters.
So, you are supposed to always get FSDT_Pushback, and nothing else, if you removed all the others.

Any news on this issue? Do FSLabs and PMDG cooperate with you to fix their model?

Not sure if there's anything to fix.
The current version of GSX has a switch in the airplane configuration that, if enabled, will prevent the truck to even try to raise the airplane, in case you find a particular plane might show unexpected side effect if raised.
