Title: YAW Damper
Post by: laser31 on June 16, 2019, 03:21:51 pm
Hello, Flusian,
I have installed the GSX demo for myself and am thrilled.
At the moment I am flying (Prepar3D v.4) with the PMDG 737-800NGX and have noticed that I cannot switch on the >Yaw-Damper< in the Overheadpanel. As soon as GSX is not switched on it works again.
What could be the reason.
I would be grateful for a short info.
Nice remainder weekend, greetings from EDDH Lothar

I am not sure how GSX would have any affect on the Yaw dampener.  I have the PMDG 737 and never noticed any issues

It's not possible GSX would affect the yaw dumper, surely not in normal use. While GSX is pushing, the airplane is frozen, so it's normal something might not work, but this would only happen during the actual pushback movement.

In every other situation, GSX doesn't change anything on the airplane, not even during refueling, since the PMDG737 is internally flagged as having a custom fuel system, so it's never actually refueled.
