I'm getting a message in every flight now once on approach - 'A Simulator update has been made. Run GSX level 2 to patch sceneries to jetways' (not verbatim, but what i could remember). I'm looking in GSX level 2 control panel, but can't find any update to apply.
I've run the live updater, which lately hasn't updated anything.
Any ideas?

It has been answered many times before:
Everytime you install a new Version (of Prepar for example) the simulator possibly has reactivated the standard Gates.
To prevent double gates at the airport, GSX is warning you that you should run the "replace Standard Jetways with SODE" button on the Configuration panel, so you have the SODE Jetways again. After you did that, the message will disappear.

Thanks - the only button in the GSX2 control panel is 'disable default jetways'. I tried that, and will see what happens.

Thats the one. I was not sure about the name, but thats the correct button.

That's what the button does: it patches the default scenery to remove the default jetways.
