Hi,
GSX has disappeared from add-on bar in FSX. Product labeled as active in addon manager, deactivating and reinstalling does not seem to do anything. Issue appeared one day out of the blue, there are no files in any anti-malware quarantine areas and no obvious firewalls blocking program from running. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Even if the title says P3D4, the solutions are valid for FSX as well.

I tried deleting all the vc++ files in 'steam apps' 'common' 'Steamworks shared' '_CommonRedist' 'vcredist' (only 2008 and 1015 versions here) but could not reinstall them as vc++ apps are already on computer. Do I have to delete every single vc++ app across whole of steam or whole computer or whatever and then go back and reinstall individually?

Nowhere the linked thread we ever said anything about removing anything in those folders.
By doing that, you haven't changed anything in the system configuration, you only removed the VC++ installers that games on Steam MIGHT require.
The VC++ libraries are uninstalled/reinstalled from the Windows Control Panel

Okay i understand now. Have done this and changed 2017 x64 version for 2015 x64 as 2017 is updated 2015 x64 and it would not download otherwise. This has not fixed issue.

I'm sorry, but I can only repeat and confirm that, by following the above thread I linked, the problem should be fixed.
