Are you sure you use the current Live Update ? This was a bogus message which is supposed to be fixed in the latest update.

I had the same thing, I did had the same message in the green txt bar however seconds later I saw the crew and also passengers coming thru the gate.
EDIT: just ran Live Update put the error still occurs

Sorry, but me too I still get the "bogus message" when asking for boarding.
Using P3Dv4.4 newest GSX-L2 version, please see my screenshots below for more info:

updated GSX with the new version dated 7th December, unfortunately still getting that bogus message like before..... no difference at all.

I found that when use jetway & check disable stairs, will produce the error messenge, but everything will be run normally......
Hope the next update can fix this situation...(use jetway but disable the rear (L5) stairs.

I just did the liveupdate on the 12th of December and still have the green message.

In my case only when I am parking within a spot/gate with disabled rear staircases! When using one with rear staircases enabled I don´t see that bogus message.

+1 just got same msg...
Got here by browsing the error i received(exactly the same as described above, and i can still see pilots and passengers afterwards- TFDi + KMSP gate F14)
I will double check FSDT Live update right now and let you know if i see any changes....

Confirmed, still happening after Live update. :'(
Happened while testing at KMSP and using TFDi 717, got the message(there are no passenger stairs you will not see virtual passengers boarding), but i could still see pax and boarding process as normal.
Again at KSLC, TFDi 717.... In case is scenery related... ???
Update: Also KLAS FSDT.....

If this only happens at gates in which you disabled the rear jetway, it will be fixed in the next update

Good to hear, but important to note that in my case, i did nothing about disabling things.
For Expl, in KMSP, KLAS, and others i experienced the issue, i was not using double jetways gates and did not disable anything. Just plain installation and fly... So not related to that(might be)? Well, lets find that out...

Please clarify all the following:
- Which KLAS and KMSP sceneries you are referring to
- Which (if any) GSX customization you made. The GSX parking customization page can tell you if you have a custom .INI file for that airport or not.
- Which gate you used

FSDT KLAS - Using Gate D37 - No customization.....install and play...
FlightBeam KMSP - Using gate F12 i think(no picture record of this one).... I use custom vehicles positions for KMSP, no gates mods since its SODE already. Attached file.

Just wanted to comment that I ran into this same issue at KLAX (FSDT). The only difference is I couldn't see anyone board like the message stated. Once I enabled the staircase, then the message no longer appears and I can see the pax/crew board.

That's precisely what I meant when I originally replied to this, in December:
