FSDT team.... had an idea to enhance GSX. The idea behind it is that when you’re flying, you’d be able to receive your information (think ACARS push) for arrival information while en route. So, at an hour out from touchdown at your destination, GSX would inform you of your arrival gate and when you land it’s already all set up. For a step further, there could be randomly programmed delays, congestion, nonavailavbility etc. I just think it would add some pretty cool realism for your gate to already be set before you even land (GSX could prompt you for your arrival airport as a part of your pushback activities) Thoughts?

You can already choose the gate before landing, and it will be prepared for you. Just that you must be reasonably close to the arrival, and below 10.000 feet / 250 kts to open the GSX menu in flight.
