passengers are not seen while boarding through the gates at EBBR. What can I do?
-
I have the same problem..at every airport!
-
That’s because EBBR uses SODE gates and not GSX-SODE gates. There is a big difference. One would hope we could call GSX SODE something else to avoid confusion but it’s likely that ship has sailed. I’m testing a few work around this weekend if I have time.
-
But until recently all my airports with SODE (with or without GSX SODE) showed passengers boarding and disembarking through the jetways. Something has changed

That's right. I had passengers till the last update
-
so what has changed? Perhaps the developer could enlighten us on this...
-
I just tested it at LPPT with GSX jetways - no passengers boarded! The status bar goes immediately from 'pilots boarded' to 'XX/XX passengers boarded' but you can't see any passengers or crew in the jetways. It's really frustrating. It would seem that it is broken.
But deboarding works at a remote stand. Then you can see passengers walking to the bus as normal.
The problem is with the jetways.
Help required here

GSX jetways work for me but not GSX, SODE jetways dont work
-
Yep, having the same problem here... GSX-placed jetways work, but SODE ones don't after the latest update!
-
Then we have to wait Virtuali's statement about this issue
-
Count me in. No PAX on airports with SODE Jetways anymore.
-
Would be nice to get a response from the developer on this..but I'm patient..

You cannot expect or demand we would *ALWAYS* reply over the weekends...
In order to give a meaningful reply, all the following must be indicated:
- Is the affected airport use SODE jetways or GSX-SODE jetways (these are jetways replaced BY GSX) ?
- Did the affected ever worked with GSX passengers ?
- Clearly indicate the airport, and if it's not default, clearly indicate who made it.
-
- The problem affects *all* SODE-enabled airports and all aircraft, whether replaced by GSX or not.
- Previously, passengers and crew always boarded and disembarked via the jetways. At all SODE or GSX-SODE airports

Since it surely doesn't happen here, it's possible this can be caused by a problem with your airplane configuration. You don't say which airplane you use and which configuration you use, so it's difficult to say more, unless you provide with further data.

What do you mean with "previously" ? Before a a Live Update ?
-
1. People have problems with SODE jetways, not GSX-SODE
2. It had been working untill the last live update
3. It don't works in any airport which use SODE jetways, not GSX-SODE
-
The last report conflict with the second last, which said:
- The problem affects *all* SODE-enabled airports and all aircraft, whether replaced by GSX or not.
So, maybe you are posting in the same thread, but have entirely different issues. Could you please make an example of an airport using SODE jetways (not GSX/SODE jetways) which doesn't work ?
-
Personally, I tested with Fslabs A319, A320
-
New EBBR by JustSim, for example

Do you mean they work with another airplane, or that you haven't tested it ?
The Fs Labs Airbus has an entirely different way of setting the passenger number, and they still have some bugs and they have announced on their forum they are still working on fixing the remaining issues with GSX.
-
I mean passengers are not seen, while boarding through the SODE jetway to Airbus A320/A319 made by FSlab
-
I don't know how it works with other aircrafts
-
It happens with all planes. Yes, I meant before a recent live update. I also tried reinstalling using the full GSX installer - same problem.

But, as you can see in other post, arseny said it works at airport with GSX/SODE jetways, but doesn't at airports with 3rd party SODE jetwys.
You said you don't have passengers at any airplane and any airport, which seems to indicate you have two entirely different issues. Is GSX Level 2 activated ?
-
Ok, just did a Live Update, and tried it with the Aerosoft A321 Pro at LGAV (FlyTampa) with GSX jetways.
It worked!! for the first time in more than a week.
Yesterday, I was flying the FSLabs, also at a GSX-enabled airport (that's to say, it has an .ini file in the AppData\Roaming\Virtuali\GSX directory), and it didn't work.
Yes, GSX Level 2 is activated, as you can see
Thanks

Hi,
I have the same issue, last week all was working great and now no passengers in lppt (MK-STUDIOS - LISBON P3D)
There is something wrong, I only update windows to 1809 and did a live update.
Passengers are visible only in default airport or without jetway.
Thanks
Christian

that's great but the problem is with SODE jetways.
-
Yes, GSX v2 is activated. Here are the examples of boarding.
-
Try a Live Update again now, we found the problem with 3rd party SODE jetways.

the problem is gone but another occurred in ebbr airport
-
I also have no passengers at the airport GSX in Taiwan.
Passengers will appear when using JETWAY, but passengers will not be available when using a stair car
At this time, the GSX will still display the number of passengers boarding but no passengers boarding animation.
The same model can display passengers at airports outside Taiwan.
I used to be able to display passengers normally, but I can’t do it after the update. I don’t know what went wrong.

That's an entirely different issue, and it's not really a problem GSX can fix completely on its own.
In our own jetways, we have a separate parameter (which is not required or used by SODE), to differentiate the walking floor from the root floor (which is used by SODE), and this is missing from 3rd party SODE jetways. We DO apply an automatic correction of about 20 cm., which is usually enough, but depending how the jetway is made and where the developer set the SODE root floor height, this cannot work everywhere.
-
So can I manually set the correct parameters?
-
So can I manually set the correct parameters?
No, you can't, because it can only work for jetways created by GSX, since it's used when creating jetways, but those used in 3rd party sceneries are already created by SODE independently.
We should probably find a way to add something like a custom .INI file for 3rd party jetways, but I fear it will become too complex for most users.

That would be very useful for some people
