I had just customised the Saab 340 with success this morning, closed P3D V4.3 and when I started it again GSX level 2 wasn't on the addon list anymore.
I made a reinstall via the addon manager but nothing seemed to happen.
I know that this is not a new issue, but it's new for me anyway...
-
did you make sure and register it in the addon manger?
-
yes i did it again with no result

No idea at all ?

Could be the customization file you made contains some error ? It's easy to do mistakes, for example when adding a custom XML expression that, if it's invalid, can stop the program.
Try to remove your customization at %APPDATA%\Virtuali\Airplanes and see if the program starts normally now.

+1 !
But I don't see where I went wrong.
I've just had two doors positioned (door 1 and 2, passengers and cargo) and when I made a test it worked quiet well.

Difficult to say without looking at your GSX.CFG. Do you have a backup of it ? If yes, if you post it here I can check.

To be honest it worked only one time and by choosing another aircraft. I was also able to swap to the Saab 340
having the GSX menu.
Now after restarting p3d , even without anything in the airplane folder, the menu is no more available.

Maybe you open / closed the sim too quickly between the two sessions.
Have you noticed how much time it takes AFTER the simulator icon has disappeared, for the "Compile" button in the GSX Control Panel to become active ?
This is the same time when is REALLY safe to start the sim again after closing it once, because the GSX Control Panel asks Windows when Prepar3d.exe has closed, and this can (and it DOES) happen several seconds *after* you see its icon disappear, so you might be tempted to just starting it again.
