Title: Parking has 1 BGL jetway - how to customise?
Post by: Ray Proudfoot on September 13, 2018, 05:25:57 pm: I have the full version of GSX with Level 2 Exp. I'm trying to customise LatinVFR KRDU for a heavy - Concorde.

Gate C25 is shown as having a Jetway 1 tab in Customisation but all jetway options are greyed out. The Jetway drop-down box shows "Parking has 1 BGL jetway".

I searched the manual for that description but found nothing. Can these be modified?

For info, I renamed the jetway BGL which meant of course it didn’t show. But still I can’t edit the jetway option to create a new one.

Post by: virtuali on September 13, 2018, 10:53:24 pm: GSX manual, Page 35, explains how to create an Exclude file, which is required even if you rename the jetway .BGL, since it's the only way to let GSX know it must replace a non-default jetway.

Just for info I was following the guidance on P13. More detailed info is provided on P35 but there is no reference on P13 to that.

All manual pages are useful...Page 13 was just a summary of the replacement concept, Page 35 is the whole process detailed. That's why I asked to check Page 35 on my first reply.
