I keep getting this error at PHNL after trying to exclude the jetways with GSX, I undid the exclude and reinstalled both PHNL and GSX.
Any way to fix?
-
Your FSX.CFG is likely corrupted, see this post here:

Thanks for the reply, i checked out that tread and did as told but still having the problem.

Assuming the lines are correct, it's best if you don't install GSX into the simulator folder. The suggested location under C:\Program Files (x86) is perfectly fine, and the only reason to change it is if you don't have enough space on C:, but you should then choose a new folder, rather than install into the sim.
- Uninstall GSX. Reply YES to the question "Do you want to remove the Addon Manager ?"
- Reinstall outside the sim.
-
Alright I did that and still experiencing the issue. Everything works at every other airport I have tried. Only issue seems to be just PHNL.
-
I am having the same issue at ATL, but the default airport works, not the imagine sim addon. It gives unspecified addon airport KATL.
Also I dug in a bit, when I deactivated level 2, GSX base works fine at ATL. So it may be Level 2 is throwing code for some reason.
-
So I uninstalled PHNL and reinstalled it under "program files (X86)" and now this is the error i get.

Have you done that I asked to do in my first reply, to check this thread and see if this is your issue ?

Do you use FSX:SE ?
If you have FSX:SE, and you have (or HAD) the regular FSX installed too, it's possible that's not the FSX.CFG the simulator is using, because your registry keys are messed up, which usually happens if you remove FSX after having installed it together with FSX:SE.
-
Hi, I do use FSX:SE but I have never had FSX installed. I had FS9 though if that changes anything, but I'm positive all those files have been deleted when I changed.
-
You might have run some 3rd party utility or installer that might have messed up your FSX:SE registry keys. Do you have another copy of the FSX.CFG file under your %APPDATA%\Microsoft\FSX-SE folder ?
-
There is not another FSX.CFG, but there is a FSX_CFG_before_flytampa-Amsterdam.CFG flie
-
Try running the SODE platform manager, and see if it reports any errors.
-
Hi so I did that and that still did not work. I noticed a similar topic and tried what that guy did, http://www.fsdreamteam.com/forum/index.php/topic,18990.0.html, and as of now that seems to be working. I haven't tried replacing jetways yet but the normal FSDT PHNL is now working. I attached the file I deleted for your information.
Thank you for the continued support! Loving V2!

I think your problem was related to a bug in the automatic choice of a logo (it used _UAL instead of _UA, which is the code used by GSX), but it's now fixed in the current Live Update.
