G'day everyone
On the day upon released i tried a trial of GSX V2, afterwards i tried a flight before purchasing and i restored the default jet ways back. Upon loading in the default jetways and sode jetways appear even with them turned off, a restart of the sim was conducted and still remains the same.
Just wondering if there was a step missed or anything along those lines.
Thanks everyone

Check the GSX Control Panel and be sure the default jetways are disabled.
-
Just to make sure i would like to keep the default jetways but sode jetways appear even with Sode jetways disabled, this what you want me to do?
-
If you already customized jetways, the only way to remove them is removing them from the customization.
-
Should of posted this earlier, i want to continue to use default jetways instead of Sode, i also have default enabled in the control panel.
-
As I've said, if you already customized some jetways, the only way to remove them is removing them from the customization. It wouldn't be right if we automatically trashed all the work you might have made when customizing jetways.
-
I haven't customized any jetways, that's the default ones that loaded it when i did a trial version, the only thing i have done was turn off the disabled the Sode jetways in the control panel.
-
You might have customized the parking, so it saved the jetway with it. When you restore default jetways from the Control Panel, GSX won't automatically replace them anymore, unless you customize it.
-
What would be the best way to fix that? Happens at every airport that has a Jetway
-
Have also done a reinstall and they still remain the same, sode jetways on top of default. Is there anyway to go back to an older installer, had no issues of previous versions and would like to go back to what i had before.
-
I can only confirm this happens only at airports you customized so, removing their .INI files from the %APPDATA%\Virtuali\GSX folder should remove all your customized jetways.
When there's no customization involved, restoring the jetways from the GSX control panel (of course, the ones of the correct simulator), will surely stop GSX from creating ANY jetways.
-
Unfortunately that hasn't fixed it either, still have the same 2 jetways on top of each other
-
Sorry, but this not possible, and nobody else has reported this. Are you SURE you restored default jetways, and for the right simulator ?
-
As shown here is the outcome after deleting the INI's and also the control panel. (Note have 2 FSX sims due to a aircraft)

So you use FSX and FSX:SE together, and no other sim ?
Then it's possible there's something wrong with their registry keys, perhaps they are both pointing to FSX:SE, which sometimes happens if you try to install a product made for FSX into FSX:SE, some addon vendors mistakenly suggests to change the FSX keys to point to the FSX:SE folder, so their outdated installers can recognize FSX:SE when installed alongside FSX.
A way to troubleshoot this, might be running our Live Update in logging mode, this way:
- Go to the folder the Live Update is installed, by default C:\Program Files (x86)\Addon Manager and type the following on the file Explorer address bar.
CMD and then press Enter
- A command prompt should open on that path. Type the following:
Couatl_Updater.exe /LOG=logfile.txt
Run the installer and wait for the error to appear. A log.txt file should have been created in the same folder. ZIP it and attach it to a post, so I can check if all your registry keys are correct.

Can disregard this now, i've looked into my registry and have had to fix a few things up and now when i change between SODE and default not a issues. Thanks again
