Title: For Umberto regarding gates up high
Post by: Midnight Music on September 10, 2018, 08:43:06 pm
I posted earlier about the new GSX replacement gates at MROC sitting 50 feet above ground, where as default gates are at ramp level. I see that GSX reads the default P3D V4 scenery file which puts the airport at 3,020 feet. However, ORBX vector, in adjusting the airport for FTX Global and NA LC puts the airport at 2,990 feet, which is why GSX thinks it is the higher altitude. I am not an AFCAD maker, but I made a rudimentary AFCAD for MROC with the lower altitude and sure enough, the GSX gates now appear at the corrected lower level. I am not sure what to do as the AFCAD I made was only to test this theory. Hopefully, I can find someone to make an appropriate P3D V4.3 AFCAD for MROC.
