I bought GSX Level 2, and the jetways are floating in the air,above the roofs,and I want a solution. I have uninstaled GSX ,is very unpleasant see the pasengers walking in the air.Who know how to fix the thing.?Angel

I have the same issue, but not at every airport. I use REX Worlwide Airports. Maybe this is causing the issue, REX Airport + GSX jetway?

Do you have something from OrbX installed ? If yes, can you disable it and see if the problem goes away ?

I have nearly everything from ORBX, except airports. I´ve read in another post that this could be the problem. At the moment I´m not at home and can not try to disable ORBX.
I´ll also follow the other thread and see if there´s a solution. Until Level 2 everything worked fine with GSX and ORBX. Now there are the problems at some airports, other airports are ok. So I had to disable Level 2 unfortunately.

On that picture I´m in Kuwait (OKBK), on ZMUB for example it was the same problem.
Sorry for my stupid question, but how do I know or check if GSX has found the correct AFCAD for the problematic airports?
I just disabled AEC in ORBX Vector for all airports. Now everything is ok with the jetways in OKBK and ZMUB for example, but the terrain in ZMUB looks strange.
So I have the choice: Really great jetways and sometimes strange terrain or normal terrain and no Level 2 ;-)
I also use FS Global Ultimate, could this also cause the problem?

I am having floating jetways as well at FUE and TFS. Seems airports which have been corrected by FTX vector elevation correction are mostly affected. I suppose I have to assign the path to the GCFV and GCTS bgl of ORBX in this case.

You must configure (likely disable) those airport in the AEC tool.

I have the same problem in EBBR EGCC just to start with.
Could you please advise how can I correct the issue using the parking customization page?
I am using ORBX scenery for Europe.
Were the correct AFCAD can be found in order to replace it with the wrong one?

If your problem is floating jetways, as I've said in my previous post, you must configure (likely disable) those airport in the AEC tool.

I'm sorry, but I don't have OrbX installed, and have no idea how to use this AEC tool. I only reported the solution that all other users with Orbx reported to be working.

Disable the airport in the OrbX AEC utility.

No problem.
1:go to Orbx FTX center
2:go to vectors then vectors control panel
3:I forget exactly what’s it called because going off memory and I’m at work...Airport elevations something or other. Other people have posted the abbreviation for it then for me I just selected all the North American airport since I only fly in the US. Put it on the disabled list press apply. Should do it’s thing then when you go to load up your sim mine is P3d it shows on start up the changes as of its configuring or whatever it does. Then you should be good to go. Let me know if it doesn’t work. So far everything has been working.

Launch FTX central
In control panel of FTX Global vector
click airport elevation and add to disabled for the airports with this problem
Apply
Exit
It's necessary to do this manip one by one

Hello,
I think that the solution given in a few posts above reliable at long-term.
Every time you install or uninstall a scenery you need to run auto-configuration tool from Vector.
After running and applying the auto-configuration, all airports are enabled again, and we need to manually disable all airports again.
Any other solution?

We just posted an update today, which allows to override the airport elevation in the GSX Scenery Customization page.
In the top-right of the editor dialog, you'll see the altitude as read by the top-most AFCAD that has specified an altitude for that airport. By pressing the small "Airplane" icon, GSX will read the current ground altitude, which might change if that airport required a fix. Just press Apply, and all jetways should now go on ground.
This should allow using the airport without disabling it in OrbX Vector.
To get the update, run the FSDT Live Update from the Desktop icon, when the sim is not running.

Let me bring this matter up again. I have installed LEPA and LEIB Pro from Aerosoft to my P3D5 and replaced the sode jetways with GSX2 jetways. I have corrected the altitude in the airport elevation box and the jetways fall where they should. As soon as I restart P3D5, the jetways go back up to a higher elevation than the actual gate. If I go through the gates and reset the elevations, all the jetways go back to the correct places but if I restart P3D5, or move from one airport to the other, the jetways go back in the air.
Any ideas as to how to correct this?. I do not use FTX Vectors but do use some of the other stuff.
