Title: speed brake

i dont know if im doing this right sorry if not   1st time and cant type    but could some one tell me where the speed brake is on f18     thanks ???

On the throttle handle. It might be difficult to reach without changing VC view or without a TrackIR, so you might find easier to use the keyboard command, the key on the left of the Enter key (key name depending on country), or assign the speed brake on a joystick or throttle axis, the Saitek X52 throttle has a dedicated slided just for that.

thanks for fast reply i have saitek 52  and was trying to assine from key command but not in list  i will try again when in game

the Saitek X52 throttle has a dedicated slided just for that.


is the speed break proportional  or just either " full " on or "full" off

dont hit ;: next to enter    has my joy stick locked up all leds flashs no controls work
speed brake is on /? next to shift  on my keyboard    anybody know how to unlock joystick

now all leds out stick is dead  mfd still works saitek 52

got it fixed works great  thanks virtuali for finding it .  could not find anything  on speed brake anywhere

That on the throttle is proportional, because it can be dragged. If you use they keyboard, instead, it's either 0 or 100%

twrodd, the F/A-18 speedbrake is mapped to "spoiler" in the control surfaces dropdown. I think this is what you were asking.

Thanks , Thats cool,  I will have to change the assighnment I have ,to the proportional slide (I have been using the "D" button on the throttle control)
