Title: I have "N" shape "scratch" on the F-18 canopy

I just got the FSX Acceleration DVD (new and paid for) and so far i realy enjoy it, BUT there is a scratch on the canopy just above the head of the pilot and it looks like the letter N, i took some screenshots so you can see it:
I put the red dots so you can see what i'm talking about

Now without the dots, as i see it in FSX

Wow ! you sure pay attention dont you, :D ;) I know there is a way to remove the cockpit reflections,I am just not sure exactly where to look,that mark you show might come out if you do that.

I don't think it's a reflection problem, am i the only one with this problem or is it a well-known issue that you are going to fix in a patch? I would appreciate if "virtuali" could reply to this problem i have, thank you.
Here is another picture, the "scratch" is just above the rear view mirror that is above the HUD and it has the shape of the letter N

And the HUD is bright because i change it, i found a fix for it over Simhq.com

I see that too, but it *way* less noticeable than in your screenshot, you really have to look hard to notice it. Might be a driver issue ?

I looked at mine and i cant even see a little bit of what ur seeing. im not saying its not there i just cant see it.

Title: FA18 Cockpit Canopy Texture Fix

With some careful editing of two texture files, I have managed to fix this artifact without losing too much of the canopy reflection detail.

To install these new textures, simply put the .DDS files from the attached zip into the FA18's main Texture folder (Microsoft Flight Simulator X\SimObjects\Airplanes\FA-18\Texture).

Enjoy some artifact-free sightseeing, fellow fliers!
