Title: Assistance Vehicles in FSX
Post by: PROUDY on March 29, 2018, 04:30:41 am
Hi There my name is John, I am a new user of GSX.
I am unable to call up Assistance Vehicles when parked with the engines off.  eg starting a new flight.
When I use the GSX Hot Key I get a warning message that I need to stop the engines before I can request ground services.
Am I missing something? I can't find any reference in the Forum and cant see any special instructions in the GSX Manual.
If I start the engines then stop, it all works fine.

Then just stop the engines...

are you using the Majestic Dash-8 perhaps ? In that case, since that plane has a custom flight model, GSX cannot detect the engines on/off status, so you must use the CTRL+Shift+F1 key, which close the fuel valves on default airplanes.
