Title: Using default AFCAD instead of Payware one **SOLVED**
Post by: MattKeane17 on November 18, 2017, 08:49:19 am
Hello,

Im having an issue where gsx at Flightbeam KSFO seems to be using the default AFCAD instead of the flightbeam one. How do I make it use the Flightbeam afcad? Rebuilding airport cache and reinstallations of both products havent worked, and it doesnt happen at other flightbeam or any payware airports. Im using the latest versions of both software (gsx updated through live updater).

Thanks

Are you sure it's using the default AFCAD and not, for example, the AFCAD of an AI traffic product in conflict that looks like the default ? Confirm that from the GSX scenery customization page, which will tell you the name of the AFCAD in use.

Here's the path that gsx is currently using for the afcad: C:\Program Files\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v4\ORBX\FTX_NA\FTX_NA_NCA05_SCENERY\scenery\ADEX_FTX_NCA_KSFO_San_Francisco_Intl.BGL

I dont know if this means that its using something other than the default afcad, but I dont have any ai traffic software installed so I think that can be ruled out. Also, how would I go about changing it so thats it's using the right afcad? Is it just a matter of uninstalling and reinstalling certain addons?

If you click on the Troubleshooting tab of the FlightBeam Manager you can deactivate those conflicting Orbx files for KSFOHD. This might help a bit.
