Title: GSX marshaller number issue
Post by: jlaporte on November 11, 2017, 07:49:25 am
Hello,

I'm having a strange issue at default airports. The GSX Marshaller numbers are just crazy and useless. However, if I use a FSDT airport those numbers are correct.

See attaches picture. Any idea on how to troubleshoot that?

Sincerely,
Jeremy

Have you configured that airport ? Is that gate set to use a Marshaller, or another Parking system, or No parkign system at all ? Which airport and gate you used ?

Thank you for the reply Umberto,

It was KSTL gate A3 I believe. This is default without anything. However, I think I'm experiencing this issue at every gate from airports that are not FSDT.

I believe the issue is with something on my computer (didn't do it before) but it's has been going on for a while and updates to GSX don't seems to resolve the issue. I'm in need of pointers to fix it.

Try to remove all your GSX preference, by removing this folder:

%APPDATA%\Virtuali

Then reinstall GSX using the full installer.

Note that, doing this will remove all your airplane and airport customizations so, you might want to make a backup of that folder.

The same happens to me with FSX-SE at every airport. It came overnight and no things where changed in between.

And by the way, there is no %APPDATA%\Virtuali

There will be.

On the windows search bar, type in; Run

Open the app, type in %APPDATA% and click ok.

scroll down to the Virtuali folder.

You are replying to a post from 5 years ago. The problem has already been discussed and answered, and will be fixed in today's update.

Then I'll let myself be surprised tomorrow.
