Title: GSX can not locate FSX **SOLVED**

I tried to download GSX for FSX as well today as the serial works for both if I am correct, but anyway as I was downloading it it said FSX could not be located. I have FSX installed outside of the Programe Files x86  where it is normally installed because it is said to stop crashes etc. but now the GSX installer could not locate it. I have both SP1 and 2 installed

Your FSX registry keys are probably missing/corrupted/wrong. Try the FSX/FS9 Registry Repair Tool (36KB) free utility from Flight1:
