Just my 2 cents but if I read Umberto's comments correctly on a different thread, it sounds like it will be which is quite exciting especially since it will take full advantage of the P3D v4(.1?) SDK.  I've been especially pleased with V4.1 so far so am really looking forward to seeing how well it performs.

Kord is under construction and will be the first scenario to use all new P3D 4 capabilities without compromising with the past.

It will surely not be released this year. It took 2.5 years to do KMEM, 2 years to do KCLT, and 2 years to do KSDF. O'Hare it's even larger.

Take your time and do it right.  This is my hometown airport.  Can't wait.

Indeed. So far FSDT has done an amazing job with their new sceneries...I'm loving P3D v4. No OOMs/VAS crashes!

Will this update also be available for FSX, or only for P3D?

P3D only. This quote from Umberto....."So yes, KSDF will be our last scenery which will be still available for FSX. Note that, I said "scenery": GSX might still see other updates, even major ones, for FSX, but just because it will take more time to eventually redesign it for P3D V4 from the ground up but, we'll surely add more and more P3D4-only features to it, while still maintaining FSX compatibility"
