Hello everyone, I recently just bought KCLT and noticed that P3D starts to struggle after I activate GSX and returns back to normal when GSX is done with it's services. Your help is very appreciated and I look forward to hearing from you guys.

Do you use P3D V4 ?
-
No I am using v3.4
-
What other 3rd party modules are you running ? A weather engine, maybe ?
-
I have a few other add-on sceneries besides KCLT which GSX works fine in. I also have a performance booster which is 3rd partyk.
-
Maybe it's just KCLT which is too heavy for your settings.
You can trying lowering the scenery memory footprint, by disabling the animated ground vehicles and/or the cars on the parking roofs, both using the CTRL+F12 menu options for KCLT

In the Add-on Manager it says that GSX is active but not installed. Could that be the reason because it thinks it is on the demo mode or something.

Are you sure it says "not installed" ? It's not supposed to say anything other than "active" or "in trial mode". The "installed in the scenery library" or "not installed in the scenery library", is listed only for sceneries that are supposed to be installed in the scenery library.
And of course, it wouldn't make much sense to have the software performing worse when in trial...this doesn't have anything to do with the activation and in any case, KCLT is an airport where GSX is working in full mode, regardless of the activation.
Please try my previous suggestion about lowering the settings, and see if it makes any difference.

I did that and as soon as I start anything with GSX the sim becomes very laggy.

You said it was laggy before now, are you saying that, by reducing the scenery objects, it has become even worse ? Are you sure you installed the current version of the KCLT installer and the GSX installer ?
