Title: vehicles have disappeared

All my vehicles have disappeared in FSX, however the sound of the approaching vehicle can be heard but not seen. Any ideas on how to fix problem?

Be sure you use the latest vehicles update: they might be there, but floating in the air, because you have applied a recent Update without paying attentions to the release notes that in December required for a full GSX installation using the current full installer, or a download of the vehicles update installer.

If they are not flying in the air, then your problem is different, and it might be related to a wrong video tweak that you shouldn't have used. This is usually fixed by removing the %APPDATA%\Microsoft\FSX\FSX.CFG file, in order to have the sim create a new one with all default settings.

Unfortunately none of the options you suggested worked. Now it appears there are only partial vehicles appearing.(http://)

Since you say "now", it seems that either of the suggestions DID make a difference. As I've said:

- Be sure you use the CURRENT version of the GSX Full installer.

- Update your video driver

- Reset your video driver settings to default

- Reset the FSX settings to default, by removing the following file:

%APPDATA%\Microsoft\FSX\FSX.CFG

This will force FSX to rebuild a new config with all default settings.
