Title: Unable to install GSX or any of my FSDT scenery.

Help,
When trying to install GSX,  I get an error message that says "Runtime Error (at 152.2448)
Error on line 17, position 4 End tag 'Launch.Addon' does not match the start tag 'Simbase.Document'

I downloaded the latest version of GSX, even tried installing the Addon Launcher on it's own, and still get the same issue. Any one of the sceneries I purchased from Fsdreamteam site, I get the same error message.


Please Help...

Fixed the problem myself. I needed to install VC++ redistributable  files.

That specific problem you reported wasn't caused by the lack of VC++ redistributable, but was caused by one of your DLL/EXE XML file which contained a clear syntax error, usually due to having edited by hand.

The lack of VC++ redistributables was likely an additional issue you also had, but not what caused that installer warning.
