Title: Most current version?

How can I tell what version number of GSX I have? Is the a file somewhere that shows the version?

This post explains why the concept of "installed version", is not very meaningful in GSX:

The short version of it is: if you have the latest mandatory full update (which, according to the release notes at http://update.fsdreamteam.com/ dates Dec. 20th 2016 ) and you have the latest vehicles installed and the latest Live Updated applied ( released Feb 17th, see the update notes ), then you have the latest version.
