Hi after I update the new GSX update I cannot use any FSDREAMTEAM and Flightbeam products. It keep crashing and I got the following error log.
I cannot reproduce the problem but, from the error log, it looks like as if you updated the Stand-Alone Addon Manager when GSX wasn't installed anymore.
Reinstall with the latest full GSX installer.

Thank you, I did install the full version of GSX with antivirus disabled...still not working with the same error message.

Are you sure you reinstalled GSX, and not just the Addon Manager ? Try to Uninstall and Reinstall GSX. Be sure you use the GSX Full installer.

Hello, I have exactly same problem with GSX.
I've installed Prepar3D V3 and newest version of Ground Services X.
After I launch P3D, I can see GSX bar menu, I've got engine warning but if I want to open GSX menu and select deboarding or anything else, the menu won't open.
I tried to reinstall it, update Standalone Addon Manager but nothing helps.
Please, can you help me to solve my problem? Thank you very much! :)

Hello, I have exactly same problem with GSX.
No, you don't the same problem. Your problem is totally different, and doesn't have anything to do with this.
After I launch P3D, I can see GSX bar menu, I've got engine warning but if I want to open GSX menu and select deboarding or anything else, the menu won't open.
If you have such messages from GSX, it means IT IS working!!
This issue has been discussed so many times on the forum. In fact, it has been discussed as recently as less than 1 HOUR ago, in a thread in this very section, just a couple of threads before this one, aptly named "GSX - P3D v3 - GSX Menu Not Showing Up"
http://www.fsdreamteam.com/forum/index.php/topic,15125.msg109986.html#msg109986
It's not the same problem discussed here, it's not a GSX problem, it'a P3D installation issue which will affect ALL 3rd party apps with a menu equally, not just GSX.

In order to fix this, you must:
- Uninstall the P3D Client
- Download either the P3D Content file or the P3D Full installer.
- Install the Content, then reinstall the Client or, if you downloaded the Full installer, just the Full installer.
I´ve tried to fix that, but it seems still does not work. Any suggestion?
Thanks

Do you have the GSX menu under the "Addons" menu ? If you have it, then you can be sure GSX is working, so that's the only solution that works.
-
I had it there before. Yes, GSX is in menu but I can not use it. For me, it does not work.
-
For me, it does not work.
Again, GSX IS working, what is not working, is your P3D installation, which is not complete, because it miss the updated files for the new menu system (the transparent ones), when used by 3rd party addon so, without those files, NO 3rd party menus with a menu will work, NOT JUST GSX.
I can only repeat and confirm, the problem is solved this way:
- Uninstall the P3D Client
- Download either the P3D Content file or the P3D Full installer.
- Install the Content, then reinstall the Client or, if you downloaded the Full installer, just the Full installer.

OK, so I´ve make this process again. Nothing works, so I decided to reinstall GSX.
But after uninstall if I want to install them back, I cannot choose my P3D. If I manually set location it says "No supported sim".
Any ideas?
Thanks

If I manually set location it says "No supported sim".
Do you use the P3D Migration Tool ?

I tried uninstall and full install both GSX and stand alone addon manager, still the same problem when I load the sim around 80% the message came up. Do you think uncheck AppData folder properties from hidden some how cause the problem. When the problem occurred my Active Sky connection and FSUIPC also didn't work properly...maybe something triggered to cause them not working properly?

If you are still referring to your original post (people having entirely unrelated issues posted here too, so I replied to them with different solutions), have a look here:

same issue on the original poste, ok will check the other posting as well.

My Couatladdons.ini is with GSX enabled
[gsx]
disable = 0
but I still have the same error messages pop up.
-
Hello,
I have just the same problem as you and I tried everything what you did and nothing helps. I`m despairing.
Is there any solution?
Best regards

I can only repeat and confirm, the only possible reason why you have that message, is because you disabled GSX. See the above post for instructions how to enabled it back:

Yes I disabled the Add On and since that moment it doesn`t work anymore. I tried to use the fix, but it doesn`t work.

That's precisely the issue. You have the error because you disabled it.
I tried to use the fix, but it doesn`t work.
The fix works, that's confirmed. Of course, you must do it correctly, and it's best editing the file when the sim is not running.

Yes, I did it exactly as you explained it, but the message pops up again...
