Title: GSX is not in my addons tab **SOLVED**

Hi,

I purchased GSX yesterday and I cannot seem to make it work on FSX. I will try to give as many details as possible. I tried many options mentioned in this forum before writing this, trust me.

- I use windows 7
- Installations of GSX and of the addon manager are both completed without an error message.
- I download and install with anti-virus turned off, in fact it is off even when launching FSX
- FSX does not ask me if I want to trust the newly installed material

Even with all this, I cannot seem to have GSX in the addons tab in game.

I reinstalled FSX Steam Edition altogether and GSx also multiple times, without success.

Please help!

By reading about my problem for hours, I found the solution by myself, although I am sure you would have found it for me ;)

Turns out I still had registry keys from a former boxed version of FSX installed on my machine. Deleted them with regedit and reinstalled FSX:SE on standalone and it works like a charm!
