Title: GSX Menu Shows Aircraft at Some Gates When No Aircraft Is There
Post by: krouner on December 27, 2016, 01:57:42 am
Not sure is this is a GSX issue but at several add-on airports I have GSX will show gates being occupied when they are in fact empty. Not all gates, just some.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

GSX asks the sim if a gate is available so, the information is supposed to be accurate.

Maybe the AI is there, but you don't see it for other reasons, for example an AI originally made for FS9, on some sceneries that uses custom runway texture, will not show.

Thanks for the reply. Would you happen to know if there is a way I can check what aircraft GSX is showing on the ground at any given time? Also, if there were an AI parked but not showing wouldn't my plane crash when parking at that same gate? I also use mostly FSX AI. I know all my SWA are FAIB FSX and I have these issues at gates assigned only to them. Just trying to figure this out before I start deleting all my AI and starting over.

You must use the Traffic Toolbox which is included in the FSX SDK.

Only if you have the crash enabled on Traffic objects.

Great! Many thanks Umberto. Also, I do have detect crashes enabled.
