Title: PMDG 738 Door 1L problem

Hi guys,

I got this weird problem with only the PMDG 737-800 version.

As soon as the gate or stair is attached to the aircraft, GSX ask if you can open door 1L. I open door 1L but still GSX tell`s me that the door is closed and I need to open it. But the door is open. So the passengers will not board the airplane and I have to reset GSX.
I don`t have this problem when I`m flying the 700 version.
Does someone have a solution for this problem?

Ok, so I tried what the guy in the link was telling. But this doesn`t work for me. Still GSX is asking to open door L FWD.

Any one with a other solution?

As explained in that thread, GSX is just reading a variable for the door's status so, the problem is not GSX, but why the PMDG doesn't set that variable in the first place.

Have you customized the 800 version maybe ? If yes, try to Reset the GSX config to default.

I had the same problem....Close the door and then reopen and it works. Nt ideal but a solution

That seems to confirm the issue was the PMDG itself somehow lost the sync between its own internal simulation and the published variable, and confirm the variable read by GSX is the correct one.

I re-checked the GSX customization, and I can only confirm the variable is exactly the same for all the PMDG 737 models (600/700/800/900), and it's read in GSX exactly in the same way so, whatever difference, it's happening entirely within the plane itself.

Ok, so I reset GSX config and it works now correctly.
