Title: New P3Dv3.4.14
Post by: edwardpat on November 08, 2016, 01:34:42 pm
Hi Umberto:
Same question as always. Are the existing FSDT modules already supporting the new Prepar3D version (v3.4.14.18870) released yesterday November 7, 2016?.
Cheers, Ed

Obviously yes, but you must update the Addon Manager dll, by launching any FSDT installer, no need to download anything: the only file that needs to be updated is bglmanx.dll, and that one is downloaded automatically by all the installers, there's no need to use new installers.

Where is the FSDT installer located please?

I just updated to P3dv3.4 and reinstalled GSX but I have no menu from SHIFT CTRL F12

Thanks

Assuming you DO have the Addon Manager and Couatl/GSX menus under the "Addons" menu, this issue, which has been discussed so many times on the forum, doesn't have anything to do with GSX.

It's a very well known P3D installation problem that, if you upgrade P3D using the "Client" installer, the files needed to support the new menu styles won't be installed, which results in ALL 3rd PARTY addons with a menu stop working, not just GSX, but also FS Passengers, SODE, and countless of other 3rd party apps that displays an in-game menu.

The issue can be fixed by installing the P3D "Content" or the P3D "Full" installer.
