Title: F/A-18 repaint true squadrons

Are there any accleration F-18s repoainted with true squadron markings? I know the marine hornet in the game is a real squadron VMFA-314 The Black knights, but the Navy squadron isn't? :'(

Yes, there are a few real-world unit repaints for the Acceleration F/A-18, most of which can be found at avsim.com

Repaints include: VMFAT-101, VFA-204, VMFA-142, VFA-192, VFA-106 and more.. some foreign operators are also represented.

Also, the stock US Navy scheme is VFA-132, which was an actual squadron based on the east coast and in service from 1984-1992.

I looked at those on avsim.com but when i tried to register it said I had to pay 5 bucks just to be  a member. :D Yeah right! I'm not gonna pay $5 to get textures. I sure there is some true aircraft f-18 textures out there that are freeware.

You'll find the following thread on this forum, Burner. It has a link to an Italian site that has some Acceleration F-18 repaints. The thread also contains some notes from other members to help get the repaints working.

Thanks I knew some real squadron textures had to be out there. ;)
