Title: JFK V2 Approach Lights Misplaced P3D Latest Version
Post by: sfgiants13 on September 18, 2016, 09:43:38 pm
I'm not sure if that's how it's intended to be but I thought I'd post.  On the approach path it looks like the approach lights are on top of a building quite a ways out from the runway.  In another instance the lights are way out from the airport and not pointing to anything.  I circled them and added a few dots to show where the lights are showing up.  I run P3D latest version and the only addons I have are FTX Base, USA UT, and OpenLC.  I have a few other FSDT airports as well.

It looks like you found the world famous "White Rabbit", which guides during the curved Canarsie approach. The JFK manual, of course, come with charts that indicates that, look at Page 34, the lights positions are depicted as small circles in the chart.
