Title: Are DLL.XML and EXE.DLL entries (couatl and bglmanx) still required for P3D V3?
Post by: tyrodes on September 13, 2016, 04:31:09 pm
Hi,

I have P3D V3, and I have installed the latest addon manager (for PHNL and flightbeam scenery).

Everything works fine (scenery and menu), but I don't see any entries (bglmanx, couatl) in my EXE.XML and DLL.XML files.   Are these loaded differently now for P3D?

Thanks

Ken

Never mind - I was looking in the wrong (old) folder location.    :-[

Yes, if you are installing in P3D V3, the current version of our installers use the new (as suggested by LM) location under %PROGRAMDATA% instead of the old one under %APPDATA% and yes, they also remove the needed lines from the XML files in the old location and add them to the files in the new one.

If there was any problem with the installation, nothing would have worked...
