Title: Am i going insane or is there a difference?

Im loving Jfk, however im wondering why sometimes it looks amazingly beautiful like this... http://imgur.com/a/Vjl1l ... whereas other times it'll look like this... http://imgur.com/a/31tsj

Is there a difference and why is this happening or am i just going insane?

I don't see anything wrong in either picture, just they are taken at different times of the day, and different parts of the airport, so they obviously look different, but I cannot see one being better than the other.

Please clarify.

That might be my answer then, just different times of the day. In one picture, the ground just looks a lot darker and the taxi lines, a lot sharper. Whereas the other one is a lot lighter
